This sentence is both an answer and a beginning to my pursuit of the intrinsic value of art.

 

Fascinated by the ungraspable, transformative power of art, I research how art moves us in a time where almost everything appears possible, producible, and consumable, yet guidance and intimacy often feel scarce. I explore how art may become a living encounter, providing guidance, nurturing healing, cultivating inner wisdom, and creating a sense of belonging and ways of being in relation, rather than remaining something to be solely consumed or possessed.

 

I cultivate an artistic practice devoted to becoming a conduit, amplifying and deepening our resonance with art, and therefore its value.

 

On one hand, I create frameworks that explore and honour the intrinsic value of art. These frameworks are rooted in my background in macroeconomics, my ongoing research into resonance, hosting, and the agency of objects, and my work with foundations. Their intention is to develop structures that allow art to guide, cultivate, and regenerate.

 

On the other hand, I give artistic expression to these frameworks through performative hosting. This practice balances creating conditions for a resonant space, encouraging guests to arrive, become still, and open to what may emerge, while attuning to the poetics of the space and the art itself. I work with my presence and an ensemble of objects, gestures, and creative collaborators.

 

My current focus is two-fold: the way we meet art, and the way we may deepen and embed this connection.

Art has touched, moved, transformed, and healed me, nurturing a deep inner wisdom. It is this that I wish to share and hold space for in others.
